Timed auctions

You may see that we will be having some timed auctions. Don’t worry we will still be having live broadcasts. We love too much to give them up.

How timed auctions work?

The first lot will finish at 10am.

Each lot ending is staggered by 30 seconds.
You will be able to see the clock count down on each item.

The exception to this rule is if a bid is place in the last few seconds.
If this happens the finishing time is extended by 5 minutes.

Happy Auction New Year!

Online only auction 10am Sunday 21st January

We are pleased to announce our first auction for the year will be an online only sale on Sunday 21st January 10 am AEST!

Myself and family of 4 kids and 7 grandkids had a nice relaxing time on the North Coast of New South Wales in a town called Woolgoolga. This town is famous for its spectacular Sikh Temples and its beautiful beaches. Over one quarter of Woolgoolga’s population are born in India (especially Punjab) or descended from Indian people. Hence,  we are pumped up for another year’s activity selling books!

Next auction highlights: –

A very rare first edition in dust wrapper of CJ Dennis’ Songs of a Sentimental Bloke, published in 1915.

An Incunable printed in 1496 by St Thomas Aquinas.

Incredible maps from The Physical Alas of Natural Phenomena by Alexander Keith Johnston.

Early printed books from 1533 and 1600.

Eight books signed by Australian Nobel Prize winner Patrick White.

Numerous fine bindings, first editions, and books signed by Xavier Herbert, David Malouf, Tim Winton and Dorothy MacKellar.

Local history and early views of New South Wales.

The complete set of the Transformers first 1984 series, and many more collectible Marvel comics.

And many more interesting and wonderful books which you will have trouble living without.

Please note this auction will be a timed auction hosted on Invaluable, and all bids must be placed on the website. We have set items to close from 10 AM AEST Sunday, at which point the highest bidder is the winner. If a bid is placed in the last 5 mins of a lot, the bidding will be extended a further 5 mins.
