 Lots 301-362 are from the private library of an eminent Sydney Oceanic Art collector. The majority of the books are about Papua New Guinea  and surrounds, but there are also books on Tahiti, Hawaii, New Caledonia, New Zealand and Australia. Art and culture are strongly represented as well as cultures and traditions, objects and jewellery. A really fascinating collection.

We have early printings from Australia including 1820 Sydney Gazette done by George Howe Printer (Lot 56)

We have a few good military books including 1975 Grim Glory of the 2/19 Battalion A.I.F. in Malaya, WW2 (Lot 26) and The Scout by Idriess 1st ed (Lot 18).

There are mountaineering books on Everest (Lot 4) as wellas,  1896 Japanese Alps by Weston (Lot105)

We also have Complete Set Handbook of Australian, NewZealand & Antarctic Birds     (Lot100) and Natural History of Central Asia (Lot 147)

Signed books from historical figures Nelson Mandela (Lot117) and  Gough Whitlam (Lot 112)
