For those who dare … uncharted lands and the newly discovered

The theme that links many of the items in this auction catalogue is: ’those who dared.’ Those who pushed the boundaries, ventured into uncharted waters, discovered new species or created new technologies.

Including a scarce Melbourne botany book by Fanny Anne Charsley who was one of the ladies who collaborated with Frederick von Mueller. We also have an exciting collection of books by zoologists and herpetologists James Edward Gray, Gerard Krefft, James Kinghorn, Frank Tidswell.

For those who like the arts we have a good number of Art, Architecture, Furniture, Clocks, Watches and Jewellery. Perhaps the most outstanding is Kaldor Art book with portfolio of artworks signed by the artists. Included are Christo and Jean-Claude, Miralda, Mike Parr, Imants Tillers, Ken Unsworth, Jeff Koons and more.
