This auction we look at moments in time.

In 1893, Maitland had flood. In this auction we have a selection of albumen print photographs taken by James W. Scobie who a Hunter Valley land-owner and architect.

The Gardiner-Hall Gang of Bushrangers. In 1864 Ben Hall and his gang held up the Rothery family. Ben Hall, Johnny Dunn, John Vane, John Gilbert, These paintings are done by Rose Rothery. Together with Alex Fordyce prison release pages.

We have a number of impressive maps in our auction including Lot 89: 1774 Map of NSW by James Cook Lot 91: 1650 Jansson Map of the Ancient World Lot 99: 1547 First Map of Australia

Dame Joan Sutherland was one of the greatest sopranos of all time. In our latest auction we have costumes worn by Sutherland in productions at the Royal Theatre and the Australian Opera. We also have photographs of Sunderland signed by her.

We have quite a few very interesting books on India and surrounds including a collection of Early Indian Portrait Photographs. A book on 1927 Indian Cotton Manufacturing and a another on 1848 Bengal Cavalry Handbook for Officers. Lots 25- 44.

We have first editions in our next auction including We of the Never Never by Aeneas Gunn – Signed as well as a number of first edition James Bond by Ian Fleming/
